WENDY SMITH-MOORE
Founder & Executive Director
Wendy Smith-Moore is the Founder and Executive Director of Thriving Beyond Limits, bringing over 13 years of experience in early childhood and special education. She holds a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Special Education, along with two Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Birth–Kindergarten Education. Wendy is also certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), equipping her with specialized skills to safely support and respond to children with behavioral and emotional needs. She is a proud member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Wendy has dedicated her career to supporting children with diverse learning needs and abilities. She previously owned and operated a daycare center, where she provided a nurturing and inclusive environment for young learners. In addition, she has spent 8 years serving within the Anson County School District, working directly with children with special needs and their families to promote growth, independence, and academic success.
As Executive Director of Thriving Beyond Limits, Wendy is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for children with disabilities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Her passion for advocacy, combined with her extensive hands-on experience, drives her mission to empower children and support families within her community.
